I've done a search and found some tips but I'm open to hear more suggestions. Basically my hood cable is stretched or maybe even broken to the point where I can't open my hood from inside the car. I even tried using a visegrip to pull on the wire from inside too. I'm in a huge problem because the car won't start (battery died while changing my front axle) and for months now, I couldn't open the hood to open at all. I'm looking for answers because now I can't change my battery without opening my hood. *sigh*

Please can someone help me out... I'm in desperate help. I am so close to hacking at my hood with a saw and cutting a hole into my hood.... argh!!!
