Default cannot remove PCV valve

hi all,

i'm a noob too all this stuff; most i've done is change oil/filter. but i'm trying to change the PCV valve but it just won't come off the hose. it comes off the valve cover just fine (i'm assuming cuz of the oil?), but it is sealed on soooo tight onto the hose that leads into the intake manifold(?). tried to wiggle it out... wont budge. the other end of the hose that is connected to the intake manifold wont even budge either. what can i do to get the old PCV valve off the hose? wd-40? motor oil? anti-seize?

i've searched past posts and came across this thread...

https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...ange+pcv+valve

... but i still cant seem to get the pcv valve off the hose. im willing to change the hose too along w/ the pcv since i've read the pcv hose can get clogged up w/ carbon deposit, but i cant get the pcv hose off the intake manifold either. any suggestions? thanks!
