Default is this bad

i know this post is for an 89 but i figure it pertains any year. so i was changing my oil pan gasket today and i had to take off the down pipe to remove the pan so i thought i would go the easy way and only take off the down pipe. when i tried to take it off one of the nuts and the bolt threads stripped out so i just took off the entire manifold. but when i went to put it back on one of the other ones stripped out and now im left with one almost stripped that is holding it on not very tight. this just became my reason to spend all that money on an upgrade since i had the stock manifold and down pipe. right now it sounds almost like a air hose when i accelerate. i was just curious if i will do any damage to anything driving around with the gap between the header and downpipe.

thanks
