sorry about your loss, you didnt mention anything about a 240SX, the last gen (S14?) is very beautiful and quite luxurious inside. Hard to find but worth it. Other options could be a SE-R, maybe a Mazda3, MK III Jetta, or an R32?

I'd probably seer away from BMW / RX-7 (Gen II) due to maintenance issues...
