You can plumb it further from the throttle body which achieves better mixture with the intake air, and provide more of a cooling effect...which is what you want. With a wet kit, you have to plumb it within a few inches of the throttle body. The fuel spraying through can puddle in the intake/tb/manifold, and can also ignite before it gets into the cylinder causing an intake backfire. Remember that vette that caught fire?
