remember the E36 M3 has a lot of maintenance issues which are sure to come up...gets really expensive. right now mine is burning a quart of oil every 400 miles and my coolant is started to disappear again after i replaced all the parts (radiator, water pump, thermostat, and head gasket). there are also a few problems with the rear suspension like worn out shock mounts and rear trailing arm bushings. the tranny mounts suck and tend to get worn causing the notorious money shift if driven too hard. the list goes on and on, be careful in your search for an M. good luck LT.

personally im with DakarMaul, i would totally get an ITR or an S2000.
