I got a question for you guys. I noticed that when I shave my neck I tend to get what looks like acne. At first I thought it was razor burn but It looks more like acne. It starts about 2 to 3 days after I shave. It looks like the hair on my neck dosent grow out, it just grows sideways and then just turns into an ingrown hair and then i get a zit. Any advice for me guys? since that happened, i just use my attachment on my electric shaver so it dosent cut that close at all so i dont have to worry about it. But i want to shave close. do you think if i keep shaving close my face will eventually get used to it?
i have that same exact prob. i would use an electric shaver, or mach3 or whatever and i'd get a really close shave, but i'd get ingrown hairs like crazy.. so i tried a single blade razor, some aveeno shaving gel. i take a hot shower first, then i get out and shave. i shave down on my cheeks, mustache, chin.. and i shave up on my neck. i jump in the shower, rinse w/hot water, then cold.. i dont use aftershave and my neck has cleared up a lot. i also noticed that my neck hairs dont grow all funky directions now that i jus shave up.. its like im training them to grow out straight.
