yes I used a 97 CL servo motor and arm it's bolt in ,only problem is it throws a code because the values are wrong but works fine ..but it's not like a check engine light- you have to hold the auto and off button together for the code to show , but will fix it when I fugure how to retrofit the 6th gen one in as I had to retrofit the 6th mode select motor and cut a 2k civic blower motor resistor and glue it into a CL resistor mount as the 6th gen the fan is varable speed not 4 speed like the 5th gen. you need alot of patience and commitment + very good soldering skills as you have to solider hair line wires in small double sides circut boards it took my 1 month just to do that alone and 1.5 months to get the mode motor to fit and swing right.. it was harder to do then my ABS brake instalation .
