your keyless brain unit is integrated with the stock radio. There's a green harness that goes into the back of it, which is for the keyless system.
under normal circumstances, when you unlock your doors with the keyless system, the lights turn on. that green harness has two wires, which need to be making a complete circut in order for your dome light to turn on when you open the doors. You can do this by either keeping the keyless brain in the car (by either getting a differnt version thats just the brain/keeping your factory radio in the car one way or another, or you can just jump the wires)
