I have an amp that will be able to give each of my 12s 300 watts RMS at 2 ohms. If i were to get Alpine type R subs that ask for 500 watts RMS would they sound good? Or should I just go with the type S subs that ask for 300 watts RMS? I just feel like it might be worth it to get the better speakers, i hear the Alpine type R subs rock. Also would it matter what the peak wattage was? If the peak on one sub is 1500 and the other is 1000 but they both have an RMS rating of 500 would they basically sound the same?
