well i do drive quite a bit for work so i put alot of miles on my car. i was very happy with what i had in there before it blew. I hadn't planned on doing any other engine work or anything as far as performance goes. Are those engines not very good for reliability?
How miles are on your engine? Did you drive it hard very often? I'm just surprised to hear that you wore yours out. What parts exactly have cracks in them? And the head gasket blew?
