I'm looking to buy a house soon and was wanting some other opinions. I'm 26 and this would be my first house and not something I'll stay in for more than 10 years. The only affordable new houses are condos or townhouses with monthly fees and most don't have garages, all around 200k+ before add ons. Being that this will be my first and I have a puppy, I am leaning towards something with a yard and a garage. Something like what you see below. 3BR 2BA, decent yard. What do you think? If I buy new, I can gain equity quick but not as much on an older home.
