Default integra transmission question

I have a strange problem with my automatic 94 Integra Ls 2dr coupe. When the engine is cold and my Rpm’s are around 3,000 to 3,500 the gears seem to slip between 2nd and 3rd and almost always between 3rd and 4th. If I have been driving the car for about 20 min the silp between 2nd and 3rd is almost not there and only occasionally between 3rd and 4th.

At higher Rpm’s (5000 and above) there seems to be no slipping. If the car has not been driven for a while (8 hours or more) then when I get in the car and start it up the accelerator feels stuck. All I have to do is tap a couple of times and it then its OK.

I know that I will have to take this to a mechanic and that it’s most likely a transmission problem. Can anyone think of what else it could be.I don’t want to get screwed at the garage. More than likely I will just take the car to an Acura service location. Any Advise will be appreciated.
