Fluidyne Radiator... experiences?
Let me start by saying my car is not a Honda. But i need Honda guys to answer my question.
I have a FWD 4 cyl turbocharged car... since i added a front mount intercooler, it has been running a bit hot. I would like to upgrade the cooling capacity. A customer of mine came to our shop with a 1999 Civic hatch with a Si motor swapped in... while looking under his hood i noticed the Fluidyne radiator. I measured it and its almost the exact dimensions of my radiator... perfect because i cant fit anything bigger. But of course, the fluidune is a bit thicker, and aluminum (mine is copper/brass), so it should cool better. My question to you all is....
Do any of you have experience using a Fluidyne radiator in a street driven 300+ hp turbocharged application? I would like my car to run at 200 degrees or under rather than the 220-230 i sometimes get on warm days (over 80f).
Thanks in advance. See ya at the track.
