thats exactly why i said it would be better to take off the bumper. my 04 coupe had a stock airbox/resonator equal in size, if not larger, that i had to get out the way. trust me, i spent 2 hrs + to jack up (lifted) my car, take off my tire/wheel, pull the fender, take out 3 bolts i thought held the stock stuff on, only to find out there was another bolt that couldnt be reached from any angle. you can see the bolt in the picture MrChad put up. the gold shiney things.

when i found instructions to take off the bumper, it took me 15 mins to pull it off and i found the stupid piece that held that ugly black mass of plastic to the frame of the car. not to mention putting on the 2 pieces and filter of the cai was 10x easier this way. trust me, its easier this way.
