Dude, Turbo your car the way it is, i had a 99 accord and swapped a jdm 95 h22a in there, WHAT A MAJOR PAIN IN THE ASS IT WAS. Harness problems, plus a shit load of other stuff you need to worry about including passing emissions. The engine harness needs to be cut, replace clips and extended in various places, not to mention the puzzle game your going to play with the wiring for distributer and egr valve if your using the h22's. Another thing i ran stock exhaust and ended up gettign stranded in the highway cause the cat got clogged and engine kept dying. I suggest that you go turbo or nitrous, and if your still going for the dohc swap,. save money up and have pros do it and be prepared to spend alot of money on customizing harness. oh and the driver side motor mount needs to be fabricated. new fuel pump too.. OH and after 6 months of playing with my car, finally got it running good (5grand later) i stepped on it and a benz ran a stop sign and well its totalled. what luck.. Im keeping the hybrids to b civics and integras now. Good luck with what ever you decide to do.
