VA cops normally use it as a reason to stop you to "check ya out". ive heard however that someone is talking to our state legislature to get it changed to a decibal level. however, if a cop is in a bad mood your gonna get a ticket, you can choose to fight it or you can just pay the 100 dollar fine and your good to go. hatchvx on this board just got pulled over by a cop in a bad mood and he got a ticket for it. when i got stopped the first time i told the cop that i didnt know, and i showed him my emissions papers, he didnt know the law and i got off scott free. oh yeah and i have an apexi n1 with and intake and header also.
I know how this works, I've been getting tickets since before you had a license, and not to be rude, but it depends WHERE in nova you are. In fairfax when you go to fight it, the $77 dollar ticket turns into $250 max fine. In PWC you get off scott free. It depends WERE you are. Also my car is a bit louder than yours I'm sure, and my car also sticks out like a sore thumb. I am not complaining about this at all. out of my 6 tickets for this I beat 4 in court, got raped in fairfax, and prepaid the last because i didn't feel like fucking with it. The only reason i want the form is to show the judge in court.
Also the cops havent needed a reason to check me out. i get pulled over so they can check my license to see if it's suspended, and to say, "oh, i see you moved hu, you used to be by the school right?" cus they used to pull me over so much. i've had my car searched about 4 times, and been pulled over for a drug inspection too. I usually get pulled over for window tint, but i have a waiver for that so they cant do dick! I love fucking them on that everytime! Hell I got pulled over twice on the way to the track this weekend by a silver undercover state cop in a Camero with a carbon fibre hood! Got out of 2 tickets, then he went and pulled my friend over that we were following up, and gave him 3 tickets!
