both tires are 45 height, but one is 225, one is 215...the 215/45 has a thinner sidewall than the 225/45...the sidewall height is based on a ratio with the width so even tho the numbers are the same, the height isn't...i thought about going with 225/40's but i didn't want the tires to be smaller than the 215/45's...i should have just gone with those probably tho...but my rims never have tucked even with 215/45's, rubbing was never an issue tho, because my suspension is race day stiff, all the time lol that's just how im used to driving it, that's how i like it. it's the added height that's causing the problem...so now i think im gonna roll or cut out that inside lip on the fender because it really serves no purpose other than being in the way...then i can lower the car back to where it was...maybe lower if that lip's not there...i just need to figure out how to do it lol
