18s Psi?? and rubbing issues
Hey guys,
I was just curious for those of you running 225/40/18 tires, what pressure are you running it at? I believe the rule of thumb is to add 2psi for every inch increase.
The door stick says to do 30 psi for my stock 15s so currently I'm doing 36psi. Just wondering if there was other recommendations out there. The max pressure on my tires are 44psi.
Second question is a rubbing issue. My rear rubs a little when I go over bumps.... I'll have to slow to avoid that. I think it's only the left rear that rubs a bit. I'm not sure yet. I'll have to chalk up both sides to check.
Reason I say the left rear...is I'm can see some marks on the edge of the tire...so I'm gussing that's where is rubs. I hear it rub.
If I leave is rubbing like that...will I risk major tire damage ie... more prone to a blow out? It doesn't seem that bad though. For those of you who rub...where does it mostly rub?
Thanks in advance for any input
