Its a real vent (hence the above thread about water getting in) and also carbon fiber hoods arent meant to be painted. the paint wont even stay on for long from what body shops tell me. And if you ask me carbon fiber looks ugly on a black car because it throws the color of the car off. While the casr is shiny black the hood will look grey.
