ok...I am kinda biased, but I would go with the impreza 2.5RS...I love mine...great handling once you put on a bigger rear sway cause in stock form it plows slightly. I also love the AWD not only for performance, but it made a world of difference in these nasty michigan winters. The boxer motor sounds awesome, and its nice to acutally have some torque. I do agree with fatbooty in the sense that it may be too slow for some, although this is coming form a miata owner
