I have my money on rings. I had the same problem burning tons of oil.

When under load and WOT, you should see a cloud of smoke behind you which would signify rings. I was burning tons of oil under boost because of worn rings and too smooth of cylinder walls. I highly doubt it has anything to do with the valve seals unless you see smoke when you shift or when cold.
