With a ten gallon you’re kinda limited on the number of fish and size. You could go with 4-5 dwarf puffer fish, or a community oriented tank with neons, maybe two small catfish, or maybe 1 dwarf pike. Like I mentioned the size of your tank limits your choices but I wouldn’t go more than 6 or 7 small fish (by small I mean fish that don’t grow larger than an 1 or 1.5 inches. You will need to cycle your tank to make sure it is set up properly to handle the fish or you will have problems and could end up buy fish every couple weeks to replace the onese that didn't survive.
