AAARRGHH!!! my girlfriend is driving me nuts!! hahhaha so she calls me today to tell me that he car's temp was rising and rising when she would be stopped at stops lights........the temp would go back down when she would start to drive again. I litterally just finished solving her "no-start" problem 2 days ago so it's kinda annoying that all this is happening at once. (guess things like this are expected with an 11 year old car). I figure this will be an easy kill, 'cause a few months ago, i replaced the rad, upper and lower rad hoses, t-stat, and a coolant flush. 2 days ago i replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ignition coil, and fuel filter. I don't have the car here to look at right now 'cause she's at work but when she gets home i'll get to it. I'm pretty sure it's her fan switch not turning on her fan. I mean, her fan not coming on would be the only thing that makes sense right? temp is okay while driving 'cause air flow cools rads......while stopped there's no air flow so temp rises. i told her wherever she has to drive, to just turn on her A/C when she comes to a stop to turn on her fan......and if worse came to worse to roll down her windows and put her heater on high if the overheating problem still persists. Anyway, i read that you can jumper the fan switch to see if it'll kick on but i don't have the car here to see where the fan switch is. Can someone let me know where it is so when she get's here i can solve this problem ASAP? the car is a 94 LS by the way. Thanks!!
