Im looking around for amps right now and i found a kenwood mono amp at best buy that has a maximum power of 1700watts(or 1600 i dont recall exactly. at 2 ohms the rms was 800watts or so. Would that be sufficient to power two 1500watt subs/500rms (alpine type-r 2ohm+2ohm).

i just need to know if kenwood is a good company to get an amp from.
