Default opinions on spark issues

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllright. after 6 hours wasted today. integra (94 LS)won't start. Yesterday, i replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor. Started it up and it was like night/day difference. Good stuff. Drove around all day...was happy. This morning, i woke up and went outside to change my fuel filter. unthreaded the filler cap to relieve pressure and also the little bolt on top of the fuel filter...i then went to losen the "inlet" and "outlet" lines but they were maaaad tight. i was just going to wait 'til tomorrow so i can get some penetrating oil so i can losen 'em and be on my way with my fuel filter change. so i tightend the bolt on top the filter back up and my filler cap and the car would not start...tried like 10 times. thought MAYBE i coulda dislodged some shit in the filter and now it's clogged...........so i was DETERMINED to get the old filter off today since my car wasn't moving for the life of it. So i managed to get the old filter off and i slapped the new one on...and the car STILL wouldn't start.......fuel pump is working.....and when i losen the bolt on top the filter there's fuel. checked all hoses, wire connections etc. everything is fine and how it was yesterday (when the car was perfectly fine)....checked all fuses too............i pulled all the plugs and saw they were soaked with gas.....so i know fuel was getting to the combustion chamber.......i then cranked the engine to check for spark by pulling a wire and holding by some metal (i know i know) and nothing!!!! all the shit i used was OEM and i regret not starting my engine this morning before i began. So i'm not really sure if the problem is from me swapping the fuel filter or some other mysterious happenings. Can a coil just die overnight just outta the blue? I need some help FAST 'cause my car is just sitting in my driveway collecting dust....so much for getting to work tomorrow.

I still have my old cap/rotor/wires.......i was gonna start with the old rotor and put it back on to see if anything happens.....has anyone ever had OEM parts be defective or anything?
