compression isn't needed to make power.

Omniman is pushing 228whp outta his b20vtec, using stock b20z phk pistons and some other methods to raise the compression to 10.6:1

It's all about making things work together. I will admit that higher compression will make the low end a lot better however.

as for his question, just any piston manufacturer should have what you need. I like CP pistons and haven't heard anything bad about them. Personally I would use oem pistons if you are into drag racing. the time period of a drag race isn't enough to require forged pistons or oil squirters, although both help.

If you are into road racing ditch the ls block and get one with squirters and then use oem pistons lol. OEM pistons are cheap, reliable as fawk, and proven.. plus there are so many types to choose from that you can make about any CR you want
