Adam-
The swap of the motor and regulator isn't hard. It's 9 bolts and possibly an extra set of hands. It can be done in about an hour start to finish; trust me, I know, and that was on my first go 'round with it.
Back to my problem that started this thread, I just don't think that the motor would've gone bad in a month. I'm thinking that some rain got into the switch body and shorted it out or caused the grit and grime in there to cover the switch contacts, but I just don't know.
What I'd really like to find is a diagnostic flow chart to determine what part the problem lies in before I have to go fight with NAPA over their motor or start hunting a new window switch. Does such a flow chart exist?
