I recently purchased a 1995 honda del sol Si sohc vtec and just have a few questions about it.

1. Is it normal for the coolant temp gauge to go to the middle then back down occasionally? I mean it never ever overheats it just sits near the bottom then goes up to midway after heating up then cools back down. Just curious if anybody else had the same issues.

2. What oil would you guys reccomend using on my engine with 124,000 on it.
