I'm about to purchase a 1999 Acura CL 2.3 from a private seller for $9,600 and wanted to see if anyone had any advice (good or bad) about making that decision. I've car faxed and everything looks good.

The car has 52,000 miles, comprehensive warranty from Acura until June 2006, tires only have about 7,000 miles on them, new battery put in last week and was checked by the Acura dealer for everything at the same time.

The only thing I can think of that doesnt worrk is the controls on the steering wheel to control the radio. I'm guessing thats probably an expensive repair and not worth fixing. Also the service light is on, I was told that comes on at 30,000 and 60,000 and the only way to have it turned off is when you do the scheduled checkup from Acura directly.

Otherwise it seems like a good car and the ride was smooth.
