sorry cant help you in the motor feild, but i just bought a 98 integra GSR 2dr with 76k on it. Mine runs fine (knock on wood). The guy was asking $7950, walked in with $7300 cash and drive out with my new GSR.

$8800 seems like ALOT to me. Mine was mostly all stock, only mod was a AEM CAI, and i just found all wires pre run with all JL audio for new subs which i just got 2 10'' JL's...saved me the hassle right there.
