I need a quote for Brembo 'blanks' - front & rear - for an '02 Accord EX 4 cyl coupe. Also quote me prices for both Axxis PBR semi-metallics (f & r), and for Axxis Ultimate pads (f & r). Will be purchasing all four rotors and a set of pads at the same time. Ship to: zipcode 30114
Questions about the Brembo blanks:
- are they blemished or seconds?
- do they come with Brembo paperwork, and warranty (and what is the warranty)?
- if there's a warranty issue, do I contact you or Brembo, and what about shipping if it is 'agreed' that the part is defective?
- are they zinc-coated, and by Brembo, or by whom?
-sorry for all the questions, but these are brake parts for my wife's car, and we all should be concerned about this stuff.

Also, can anyone else make any comments or recommendations re: Axxis PBR or Ultimate pads? Or for that matter, any other brands that you can recommend? Is it recommended to go to Brembo rotors if one upgrades their pads from OEM? My rotors have 50K miles on them, and have never been turned, and the pads are the originals, and still have some (tired) life left, but it's time to upgrade the brakes. Thanks.

BTW - I always thought that slotted (or more accurately, 'grooved') rotors are beneficial for assisting getting rid of brake pad dust, and possibly eliminating most brake squealing in the process. There are claims that they helps w/ 'de-gassing' of the rotors, but that seems more like "features and benefits" sales-hype to me. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. Also, grooving and/or drilling rotors actually reduces the efffective brake contact area (swept area), and has been blamed - perhaps without merit, for cracked and/or warped rotors, as well as chewed up pads, or at a minimum, reduced pad life.
