So I've decided on the Team Dynamics pro race 1's 15", the only decision left would be that of tires - but that's a big dicsion.

As soon as I walked in and mention 15" tires+ autocross he imediatly jumped to the Falken Azenis, which is supposedly a common setup. I then explained how I'd like to keep the same tires/wheels on for the entire summer, so we decided against these because they'd wear out too quick.

I'm currently considering the following tire, which should last a while and still run well in autoX.

Falken Ziex ZE-512
225/50R-15 - Currently 71.99 (on sale. Usually 100 ish.)
The HUGE line down the middle supposedly helps wet performace. But man, do I really need it? These are still considered all season, I might want to get just a summer tire.

What do you think? I'm excited about the tire being 225 wide. That'll be so awesome.
I think you made the wrong decision. But hey it's your ride Plus they are pretty crappy tires from what I hear in general. My friends have them on their WRX.

My Azenis RT-215s have lasted well over 1 1/2 years with more than 40 autocrosses on the current set I have. Still has about 3mm of tread depth left. So now these are my rain tires while I wait for the RT-615s to arrive.

As long as you have proper toe (I recommend 0 front and back) the tires will last a long time. Also 225/50x15" is going to kill your gearing. Your car is going to accelerate like a slug. The right size would be 225/45x15".
