Default Anyone experienced in hydrolocked cars?

Ok, my friend's Accord hydrolocked at Walmart after stupidly driving his car with a CAI into a 2 foot pond in the parking lot. I took out the spark plugs, cranked it and it shot out maybe 1-2qt or so of water. Put in new plugs and changed the oil (it looked like mud). The car started after 5-6 cranks. Left it on for 15 mins to burn off water in the exhaust and drove it home since we were tired. Everything worked and it drove fine. Hell, it idled better than ever. We planned on changing the oil 4-5 times the next day.

The next day, we started the car this afternoon and it kicked getting into gear, had a rough idle, sporadically fluctuates RPM while driving from 1k rpm- 3k rpm, and going from a dead stop feels like accelerrating it while in neutral. I think the calipers in the rear may have siezed since the rears smelled like burnt tires.

However, when we changed the oil for the second time after the incident, the car was fine and started up great, drove great. The oil came out pretty nasty and had tiny sediments in it. We drove around Autozone parking lot a few times and down the block after a quick oil change. But then when we stopped the car and started it again, it did it again and started/idled rough. Oil came out clear. So we sat there confused. I changed the oil again and dropped in half a pint of Seafoam engine cleaner and drove back to campus. Gonna try again tomorrow.

I don't understand why it's doing that and if it's the electronics going crazy as well (ABS... cruise control activated on it's own too for a while even after both fuses were pulled-- tried resetting the ECU 3 times after 10 mins). On the drive back to campus, putting D4 and D3 and reverse drove like crap, but in D2 and D1, it somehow drove fine at the end of the trip back. So I'm confused as hell.

I spoke to some guy at Autozone who had his corolla hydrolock at the same place and he said the car was fine after 10 oil changes using full synthetic oil.

Anyone have any suggestions?
