i agree with you completely, but like i said, i can see pontiac as a performance division. saturn, no. i think pontiac needs to ditch the boring family sedans, minivans, SUVs, and the vibe, and really go for a performance oriented approach. they do need some serious reconstructive surgery to fix their image, tho.

My point is this: Customer Service skills can be imported across brands. History has to be built over decades. I don't see a reason to euthanize Pontiac when the products are improving and their market niche has room to expand.
:werd: i don't think it'll take decades, but how patient do you think the upper management at GM is? a lot of companies nowadays are only interested in fast, continuous growth. if they haven't gotten very far in five years, i think we might see a brand or two get axed.
