Those places are all to the north of Bmore. You're thinking of Pikesville, Owings Mills and Reisterstown, which are sort of to the north west.
DC area has similar stuff. Bethesda and Potomac are like Pikesville. Rockville is like Owings Mills. Gaithersburg is like Reisterstown.
