Paper air filters are not "crap." They've been in standard use without problems for a lot longer then you've been alive.

Conventional oil is not "crap" either. Give me one good reason why you think so, without quoting any propaganda off the back of a bottle. On top of that, you can go from synthetic back to regular at any time, going from an old engine that's run regular all it's life to synthetic is the problem.

Gas over 90 octane is a waste of money unless your engine is of high enough compression to actually need it. Saying anything under 90 is "crap" shows your ignorance of the topic.
