PA is one of the best places to live if you don't mind changing seasons. Gas is cheapest by far. Insurance is the cheapest (compared to NJ and NY), and lots of things to do.
My friend's parents are going to retire there in a few years--way too expensive in NY. Her dad would be working forever and ever.
