I am trying to figure out why my Check Engine light is on and why my governor is kicking me at 6500. Anything I may be overlooking? Its been doing it since i got the car. Its so bad that I got passed by a Ford Escort GT because it barely lets me into VTEC before I hit the limiter....

Help please?
