do you feel confident taking apart you dash panels, turning a few screws, plugging in a plug.....?

its not really a difficult thing to do. but for someone who has never done it, it can be quite a task.

itll be best IMO, if you have a friend that have experience in doing those type of work help you out.

but if you are confident, i say go for it.
