Theres an option for HTTP proxy, is that just like a regular HTTP proxy or a special AIM HTTP proxy?

Work is starting to block things like the insecure bastards they are, so I have to work around their rules in order to get things done.

We are doing the same thing here at our firm.
We have a meeting/ demo with the vendor in about 3 hours.

What this will do is monitor / block what comes in and out of the firm.
Whether its I.M or e-mails.
It scans the ports and generates reports which will be seen by me and the C.E.O.
It detects user by IP and user name ( Network user name and Instant Message user name )

Since im going to manage this device I'll see what I can learn from it and pass it along.

Ever since that whole thing about viruses/ trojans being sent through I.M's they've freaked out over here.
A few partners use I.M and Yahoo MEssenger and i guess it caught the C.E.O's eye.

So im sure the partners could continue to use it but the support staff will possibly get fired if they are caught using any I.M tools.
