Im using Mothers Metal Polisher. Is that going to have any other type of affect than the other polishers out in the field?

I'll give it a go with 1000 grit sandpaper and see if that does anything then polish it using the elbow greese as I buff it out.

Don't any you guys wax it after its all finnished?
