10psi is accepted on the d16y7. 6psi is a very very safe estimate but...

In all seriousness... it's not how many psi the engine can handle, it's how much power.

6psi on an sc34 is gonna be a lot more stressful than 6psi on a DSM t25.


I would say around 180whp is the max for daily driving on stock internals. I think that is around 8psi on most of the .48 t3 turbos.
