Make sure there isn't anything rubbing on the needle or the gauge shaft.
If you were gentle and didn't bend anything in there you should be fine. Heck the indiglo gauges could have been rubbing on the needle the entire time and now it's back to working correctly.

It is not working correctly. it goes down to a half tank then goes back up to full. I am just going to replace the gas/temp gauge. I found a site that sells it seperatly. How would I take the old one out and put the new one in? it is just a few srews? Would there just be a clip for the gas/temp gauge to hook back up to the gauge cluster?
