Default AEM V2 Intake

Hi,
I've been shopping for a Short Ram air Intake for my 2004 Civix Ex and I came across the AEM V2 intake system. They claim that the design generates better HP/torque gains and is fairly consistent in the power gain across the whole rpm spectrum. They also claim that because of the location of the intake's filter, it takes in air from the coolest part of the engine compartment.

Does anyone have experience w/ this? The only mechanical mods I'm planning to make are an intake and cat back exhaust (not looking to build a race car, just want some extra HP over the stock 127HP) so if it's going to offer a better gain than a conventional short ram air intake I'm willing to pay the extra bucks.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Mike
