no amps or added stereo equiptment.. tryin to keep the weight down a lil.

The battery that i started with was definatly junk, but the optima is in great condition. Alternator was running fine for at least 3 weeks now with no probs.. i'm gonna pull it off tonight & have it tested. I highly doubt it's bad, theres nothing abnormal bout it's function. No additional power is being used at this point.

That sucks man, I would say it is the alternator if all cables are snug, after switching out batteries.

Maybe you should have powdercoated the alternator :chuckles:
