I don't really think anyone needs a higher degree, though, to realize that this situation is either a) the administration deliberately lying to try to get the circumstances in their favor or b) they were too disorganized to get their facts straight. Either way, this does not put the administration in a very good light, especially given that they already have trust issues with a significant portion of the American population.
