Meds can't erase a problem, you need to become aware of what is causing the problem. All the meds will do is alleviate the issue and nothing more. I had sleep paralysis ever since I was a 13. It got really bad when I started school, even worse when I was struggling as a chem engr major was in a horrible relationship with a girl who drove me nuts. I got prescribed meds to help, they helped for a while but the moment the stress level sky rocketed I had the same old helpless feeling of waking up and not being able to move. The solution was simple, I removed all the stressful things and quit taking my meds - bingo worked like a charm.
