I was talking to a buddy of mine the other day that has a '99 GSR and he was telling me about this new thing he had on his car. He said it was a prototype for a tuning company he knew. It was like some sort of resin composite gasket that went between his intake manifold and the head. It was pretty amazing because after driving his car for like 15 min. he popped the hood and I felt the valve cover...warm. but the intake manifold was completely cool! He said when they were first putting it in his car, they had a temp gauge hooked up to the intake manifold and it was only reading like 91 degrees the entire time! Just thought I'd share this info and see if anyone had ever heard of such a thing.
