My car is 96 accord. The check engine light never comes on. I went to a garage. They told me the ECM is dead because they bypass the ECM, the light is on. Oh, I drove the car almost 6 months, this is my first car. Is it really bad to my car? I am worried about it. And they told me the used ECM is around $275, labor is $120. Is it reasonable?
